I Need to Catch Up!!

I have been a bad, bad blogger! So much has happened the past couple of months! The biggest news is that I finished my dossier and sent if off to the adoption agency. Yeah!!! After a big homestudy hold up, it was finally completed! They are now waiting for three more of my reference letters to arrive and then my paperwork will officially head to India. I'm going to try to be better about updating the process and updating my time line. I always have the best of intentions, but then time sneaks up on me!

Contract Mailed? Check!

Today I finally got the contract in the mail, flying it's way to Oregon! I feel so good about finally really getting a move on in the paperwork to bring Shepherd home!!! I also came home today and was so surprised to get a message on the answering machine from Dr. MacKoul. She was calling to say she was sorry that she had missed me last week when I had come into the office to request Regan's medical information. I have to have a letter outlining Regan's current health and to show that she is up to date on shots and regularly followed by a pediatrician. Dr. MacKoul also apologized that the letter was not taken care of last week and said her staff could have completed it, but that she has it done and will have it notarized tomorrow. How nice that a doctor calls personally to keep a patient's mom up to date. I was impressed the office was so nice and thought nothing of having to come back to pick up the paper. I love our pediatrician!!!
